ARE YOU PROTECTED? Computer Safety & Security – 2 sessions to choose from

When you are on your cell phone, tablet, or personal computer, and when you’re connected to the Internet, if you don’t take the proper precautions, you are at risk. Come to this 2-part workshop and find out what you need to safeguard your privacy and your device.

2 classes – 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Mondays, Feb. 12 & 26 (no class Feb. 19, Family Day)
Cost: $20.00 per session



In these sessions, you can come and ask our computer instructor any questions that you have regarding your computer, phone, tablet, etc., and you’ll get the answers you need.

SMARTPHONE TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOP – 2 sessions to choose from

Have you bought the trendy Smartphone recommended by a friend, and now you’re wondering how it all works? Come to this tutorial and learn what you need to know to securely use and enjoy your Smartphone.

Tuesdays (3 classes) – 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

But always wanted to learn. In these 3 classes, you’ll get the answers to all the questions you have about the Internet. You’ll improve your internet search results and learn how to keep your browser plug-ins up-to-date.

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE   Photograph Correction & Free Tools

Learn how to digitize old photos for posterity and manage large image collections, plus this course will help you find free tools. Bring your camera, manual and flash drive, to save images created or altered.

Thursdays, Feb. 8, 15, 22 (3 classes) – 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

 Reginald Cottle teaches at a Toronto-based community centre and works within the computer field. His community involvement focuses on the growth of the individual within the community with courses to introduce others to the usefulness of the computer. A trainer as well as past project manager for a youth internet training program, he holds certifications in programming.
