Knitting and Crochet Beginner One Level  

Show off your new creative skills. Knitting and crochet is not just an activity your grandmother is doing. Everyone is getting in on the action! Knitting and crochet provide many benefits. Learn a new skill that is fun and relaxing. Learning to make handmade gifts from the heart is meditative and it can lower stress, anxiety and your blood pressure. At the same time you create personal gifts for friends and family! Learn the art of knitting and/or crochet from Johanna, a knitting instructor of many years and make that fun hat, scarf, or cup cozy!

Students are asked to bring these items to every class:

  • Knitting Needles Size 4.5 – circular and

  • One crochet hook Size 5 and

  • Skeins of wool, yarn made from cotton or soft acrylic in #4 worsted weight.

Date: Tuesdays, July 4 – August 29 (9 classes)
Time: 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Cost:  $108.00 CECC members, $118.00 non-members
